As Brisbane, Toowoomba, and much of the state recover from the devastating Queensland Floods central and SE Queensland recover from massive flooding in the wake of Cyclone Tasha, concern has been mounting over the vulnerability of the state to further flooding in the event of another cyclone. Cairns residents have been closely watching a cycloned developing off the Queenlsand coast. Cyclone Zelia has now developed into a category 2 cyclone but fortunately it is tracking southeast and keeping its distance from the mainland.
